LISA Academy students donated $600.64 to Habitat for Humanity through their First Friday Philanthropy today. We continue to be inspired by our students philanthropic spirit and servant leader hearts.

Habitat for Humanity International was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller. Today, Habitat for Humanity is a true world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing.

Through the work of Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing. Churches, community groups and others have joined together

to successfully tackle a significant social problem ? decent housing for all.
Today, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 400,000 houses, sheltering more than 2 million people worldwide.

Our parents Ms. Rowena Garcia, Mr. Clyde Butler, Ms. Garrett Gray, our students John Williamson, Amendian Thomas, Nke Okeke, and our admnistrators Mr. Atnan Ekin and Mr. Cuneyt Akdemir visited Governor Mike Bebe at his office to thank him for being present in our high school grand opening ceremony.

Our students presented him a frame and an album with the pictures of the grand opening.

What Our Alumni Say about LISA Academy

Overall the school is great for students. The environment is well kept. However for the students attending now to reach their full potential the teachers have to incorporate more fun activities in the classes. The more fun the students have learning the more successful they will be later on in life. They’ll be less stressed causing a better learning environment, helping to build a better student/teacher relationship, and less disciplinary actions will be taken by the teachers.
